Liposculpture can be used to sculpt localised pockets of fat, or removed fat by volume.

In today’s society the pressure from the media to be and remain slim grows from year to year. This media frenzy has created a lot of anxiety in all walks of life and spans almost every age group.
There is no substitute for a healthy diet and lifestyle; however, for some people these alone are not enough. Fat cells can become resilient in certain areas, and patients can notice that pockets of fat remain even with a varied exercise regime.Liposuction provides a safe way to remove pockets of fat. Liposuction permanently removes fat cells which are never replaced and the change in body shape can often be permanent.
Liposuction (liposculpture) is a safe way of removing those fat cells while causing minimal trauma. Many areas of the body can be treated with liposculpture with the most common areas being the abdomen, the thighs and hips.
Liposuction (liposculpture) at Castlefield Clinic is carried out under local anaesthetic with sedation which minimises the risks normally associated with a general anaesthetic. The technique of anaesthesia also means that there is less bruising and a quicker recovery time from liposuction, with no need for an over night stay.
